See photos below text: - Tram 2536 was used for this long expected test. Sadly I was in Brussels that Morning and missed it, but luckily John Bradshaw wasn't and was able to provide these pictures. There were the usual problems with obstructions and Police were needed to cross several busy roads where lights are not yet commissioned. The tram reversed using the Crossover at Addington Village. The Railway Inspectorate did walk the route to New Addington but it was decided not to take the tram. |
